Telephone Log

Legal I.T. provides a full telephone logging system that integrates with our practice management system Partner for Windows as part of our Firmshare product.  Using an electronic telephone logging system allows practices to store all incoming (and outgoing if necessary) messages. 

An obvious advantage from a practice point of view is that all logged calls can be reported on.  Example reports may be as follows:

  • list of calls by a particular client or clients (over a given time period)
  • list of calls to a F/E(s) where the call is still 'open'
  • list of all calls received and their status by F/E

Once a call is logged and passed, the recipient can choose to tag a note to a call (i.e. Telephone attendance note) and then choose to store the record in Partner for Windows.  The call is then time stamped and stored as a PDF in Partner.  

F/Es also have the ability to record both incoming DD and any outgoing calls.
